Seven Foot Pool Tables

Measuring 39″ x 78″ the inner playing field on a seven foot pool table will work ion most home situations.  Seven foot tables allow the for a larger table but still able to accommodate the 58″ cue length most common cue sticks. 

To properly determine the room size needed  you only need to add the following

39″ + 58″ + 58″ = 155″ or 12′ 11″ and the length should be as follows

78″ + 58″+58″= 194″ or 16’2″

This will allow you to angle the cue upwards and miss the wall. Shorter 52″ sticks are still common for tight spots such as columns in a room.
